As a boutique operation, Powder Point Oysters prides itself on creating a direct link between the consumer and farm.
Since 2002, our Oysters have been grown in the pristine waters of Duxbury Bay, Duxbury Massachusetts, which has established a well-deserved reputation for producing some of the best farm raised oysters in the country, if not the world.
Delivering fresh, high quality oysters is not our goal its our purpose – we will only put our name on our oysters, and never outsource to another farm.
The farm operates out of a HACCP approved facility, meaning that the company has taken all the steps required to ensure that we deliver a safe, high quality oyster to the market place. Our wholesale license allows us to sell and ship oysters anywhere in the United States.
WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT:
We got our start during a time when Oysters were becoming showcase menu items and farms were quickly expanding. We wanted to stand out as a different kind of operation. It took a lot of determination, collaboration, and a few serendipitous accidents for us to arrive at where we are now.
If you are buying from Powder Point Oysters you buying directly from us – and us, only. One farmer, one farm with one standard of quality and consistency. We are happy to be a boutique operation and don’t plan on compromising our core mission to expand. For us, its all about the Oyster.
From bay to bag, we know every step the Oyster went through to get there. We do not outsource.
